- Manages the
Overhead Crane and Hoist Service Group for our Company
- Responsible to the
Company President
- Oversees the
Service Technicians, Shop Facilities, Branch Facilities, and Service
Group’s Equipment. Responsible for hiring new Service Technicians
Customer Service is our
Service Group’s (and Company’s) future. Responsible for good, responsive,
and quality service. Calling on Customers for better relationships. Able
to communicate on the phone.
TASKS: Receiving
Customer’s calls. Scheduling of Manpower, Equipment, Rental Equipment,
and Subcontractors for Projects.
Determining Job Costs,
Estimating, and Proposing to Customers. Computer Literate, Manpower
Scheduling, and Job Scheduling.
Helping develop new
procedures. Training new Technicians.
Required to Supervise
Major Projects.
Must be able to
multi-task. Ours is a fast-paced
demanding business.
Able to work with other
company personnel – Service Support, Parts, Sales, Clerical, Accounting
and Vendors. Excellent people skills a must.
Ultimate in Integrity
and Ethics. A team player. Able to communicate. Respect for others.
Professional. Able to lead.
Skills must include
strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and experience, along with a
keen Trouble Shooting ability.
Initially a hands-on
position whose duties include Servicing, Repairing, Maintaining,
Modernizing, and Installing Overhead Bridge Cranes, Wire Rope Hoists, and
Chain Hoists. Installations that include the New Equipment and/or
complete Turnkey Projects including Runway Structures. Experienced with
rigging.
Electrically must be
knowledgeable and have work experience with AC Motors, Wound Rotor Motors,
Motor Controls, VFD’s, and Radio Controls. Must have practical experience
with these electrical controls and high mechanical aptitude.
Mechanically must have
varied experience repairing mechanical equipment.
On-call (24/7)
responsibility. Some travel and over-nights required.
Minimum of H.S. Education, Technical
Schooling or some College and 5 -
10 year’s applicable experience including supervising people.
